Dr. Kowalski was highly recommended by another one of my doctors. He and his staff did not disappoint! They were on time, and professional. Even though my issue was very specific, I got a complete exam that included seeing the MRI with him and detailed explanations. I will endorse him to anyone!

I have been referred to Dr Patel for shoulder impingement and torn rotator cuff. He has been thorough in his evaluations and explains what he sees very well. He isn't jumping straight to surgical options, letting me work with physical therapy for improved function and less pain.

Dr. Leroy Butler is an highly professional, incredible and amazing knowledgeable orthopedic doctor/surgeon. His knowledge, experience, diagnosis accuracy has been above and beyond any expectations. He communicates your treatment plan effectively. It’s rare to find a doctor/surgeon that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. He performed my right ankle surgery which went very smooth and most importantly, post-surgery effects were minimal (no pain). He “walked” me through it every step of the way in pre or post-surgery appointments and ensures that the patient is up on their feet within no time to resume normal routine. I highly recommend becoming his patient!
His assistant Jamie is phenomenal! She is caring and on top of the behind the scenes work we may not always see. Her professional and patient care has also been very gentle!
In addition, the office staff are tremendously kind, generous and helpful!

Dr Butler corrected 2 botched surgeries from a previous doctor. He was honest and upfront, not just pushing me to get another surgery. I am not sure I would be walking on this foot if I had not gone to Dr Butler for a second opinion. I am currently in his care for an issue on my other foot. He also helped my husband when he had stress fractures on his foot. We will continue to go to Dr Butler for any future foot problems. He remembers his patients, he is professional yet very approachable and easy to talk to. The staff is great too.

I’ve gone to Dr. Patel for a few things over the last couple of years but recently, 2/28, I had an accident where my right shoulder was broken. He did a complete shoulder replacement. Dr. Butler is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and straight forward, I knew I could trust what I was being told. Within weeks of my first visit, I had surgery to correct my ankle and had zero pain associated with the surgery. Any pain or twinge that I had, he knew exactly why and explained in terms I fully understood. He and his staff are very responsive to any needs or questions you may have.

This doctor is always so patient with both me and my husband (yes, we are both his patients). He is not an "in and out" doctor. He will take a seat and address all of your concerns. He will ask questions and actually listen to your answers. I would highly recommend Dr. Butler for your foot and ankle needs.

I do not know where to even begin! Dr. Kowalski and his staff were beyond helpful and such an awesome staff! If I could give them a 10 star rating, I would. I traveled from Mississippi and had my ACDF with graft on June 29. Hands down it was the BEST decision ever.
I am currently 2 weeks post op with no pain, I have feeling on my right side and no more gait instability. I highly recommend Dr. Kowalski and his entire staff at OINT Orthopedics of North Texas!

Dr. Leroy Butler has been amazing. He's very kind, he listens to my needs, and doesn't try to persuade me into doing anything other than what I went there for. I appreciate that so much. The gel and cortisone injections in my knees has been life changing. I feel more confident when I'm walking around the house, as I'm not a good candidate for knee replacement surgery because I have Chiari Malformation. But these injections have been great as far as taking the pain and pressure off my knees, so I have more feeling of balance. I still use my walker when I go out of the house, but that's only because I have Chiari Malformation and I get dizzy easily. Great doctor & clinic Thank you

Dr Patel is absolutely amazing. He was able to recognize and fix a mistake made by the emergency's surgeon, when they pieced together my arm after an accident, but managed to make it crooked. Dr Patel re-fixed the hardware in my arm in a proper manner and made it looking much better. I highly recommend him! Thank you

Dr. Kowalski, is awesome. He reviewed my MRI and X-rays, we decided together the best treatment route to go. He quickly had me scheduled for an epidural injection, was on time for the treatment, and best of all, I woke to his smiling face. :o) I have had injections before, but this was by far the best treatment I have had. Still having some numbness but I am aware, I may need another injection before it truly works. Thank you Dr. Kowalski. And thank you Dr. Kane for referring me.

I had my first appointment with Dr Kowalski a couple of weeks ago. My experience is very positive. I went to the Warren Pkwy office, the front office was professional, I wish I could remember the PAs name as she too was professional.
I felt Dr Kowalski was thorough in the examination. He took time to explain the MRI, i.e. did not wait for me to ask questions not knowing how or what to ask.
I'm seeing the PT he recommended in the hope that I don't require surgery. He made feel comfortable that it was not urgent. He has a lot of experience with the type of surgery.
If you have been told to consider surgery, it is prudent to get a couple more opinions, and Dr Kowalski will likely be an informative visit.

Dr. Butler is amazing. He is attentive, empathetic and very kind. He was able to assist me with my neck and shoulder, although I had inadvertently come on the wrong day of my appointment. He agreed to see me even though his specialty is foot and ankle!!! I was so thankful for his willingness to see me that day and he ordered X-rays and sent orders to the facility of my choice so that I could get an MRI of my neck and shoulder!!! He truly went above and beyond and for that I am so very grateful. KUDOS to you Dr.Butler!!! Thank you!!!

Dr. Kowalski was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He listened and empathized with unmatched bedside manner which is hard to find. I did not have my MRI images at my appointment but when I returned an hour later with them he took the time to see me again to discuss a treatment plan. I was also happy that he approached treatment conservatively not jumping immediately to surgery. So far, a week later, my pain level has decreased significantly and I’m feeling hopeful again. I highly recommend Dr. Kowalski is you’re looking for a spine expert.

Dr. Kowakski is knowledgeable, friendly, clear and concise with his explanation of the issues with my neck. He was patient and showed empathy. He and Dr. Patel saw me on the same day for both my neck and shoulder.

It was my first visit with Dr.Kowalski and he maintained the standard of professionalism set by the other physicians he works with. My husband has had two surgeries with Dr Kane. First a total foot and then a year later an ankle replacement on the same foot! Dr Kane is an extremely smart, knowledgeable, experienced surgeon! My husband has had a Great recovery and now, after several years of pain, is completely pain free with full range of motion when walking . Dr Kane is not only dedicated to his patients in this area , but also does overseas missionary work blessings others in need! Dr. Butler has taken excellent care of me since I broke my kneecap and he performed my knee surgery in February 2022. He has an excellent bedside manner, is very easy to converse with and takes time to answer all of my questions no matter how big or small. Dr. Butler is fantastic! I’m 38 years old and after 3 years of failed attempts at controlling my osteoarthritis I went for a second opinion. He took great care in his diagnosis. The two surgical procedures (on the same foot in the same session) have relieved my pain FINALLY!
He is a wonderful doctor and he makes himself available for his patients so you never feel like you have wonder if you have questions about what’s happening or the state of your condition.

Love Dr. Butler. I first met him in the ER at the hospital form a badly fractured foot. Even then, he let me ask any and all questions. And he explains everything for me to understand. And he administered my steroid shot in my foot and was so gentle!! I recommended him to anyone!!

Dr. Justin Kane, MD is absolutely amazing! I had a previous ankle reconstruction surgery less than a year before I saw Dr. Kane, but that surgeon made my ankle worse than it was before surgery. Dr. Kane was very polite, through, answered all my questions, and did amazing work to actually fix my ankle! One year ago today he did surgery and my ankle feels amazing today. I did a 5k about a month ago for the first time and my ankle felt great afterwards! I highly recommend Dr. Kane!

Dr. Kane is the best! I had an ankle injury that was misdiagnosed originally by another doctor so I spent a year walking around in pain. I went to see Dr. Kane for a second opinion. He let me know that to really be 100% again I would need surgery. Dr. Kane was able to get me in quickly and my recovery was a breeze! I was pain free and running again in no time. I've run three half marathons since my surgery with Dr. Kane and I couldn't be happier!

Dr. Butler really took the time out the explain my injury and do all his due diligence. He was so careful with discussing potential injuries with me and also saw my hesitation and offered to see me post treatment in case my injury wasn’t fully healing. I’ve had a really unfortunate hammer toe for almost 20 years and Dr. Kane made, what some in the past had referred to as a raptor claw, look normal. My toe looks better, my shoes fit better and I can comfortably wear thongs(sandals) to the beach! Thanks Dr. Kane!

I was referred to Dr. Patel via my concierge doctor. He said he was the best in the business. My son broke his elbow in a trampoline park and we had to get him into surgery as soon as possible. I wanted to make sure that we chose the right surgeon for the job and had experience working with Kids. Dr. Patel was just that. He was so good at talking and explaining everything over to my son. We knew in our first visit that we had the best surgeon in town for the job. My wife and I are very pleased with the surgery and how quickly Dr. Patel jumped in to fit him into his surgery schedule. From the first visit to my most recent I was very pleased with everyone in the office and the Dr. They helped guide me through everything from before surgery to after surgery and follow up visits. For those needing to have a Total Knee Replacement, a few words of advice...Talk with the Dr. about the surgery, after the surgery, PT and how soon, the pain levels you will encounter, sleep and the lack of it, and how to handle other pains that do and will come along with your recovery. Know your emotional well being and ask tons of questions. Last thing, this will hurt, but every day gets better, good days out number the bad days, every little win leads to a bigger victory. Next thing you know you will realize you could do something you couldn't do the day before. Do your PT exercises at home and not just at the PT place. Stay positive and all will be way better than it was before. Thanks to Dr. Dibra and his staff for all the help.

After 2 years of hip and back pain, numerous injections and no relief in sight, I decided to try the ortho route. I was referred to one who just wanted to provide more injections and not even look at my MRI history. I asked for another referral and was sent to Dr. Dibra thank goodness. His staff is very efficient and friendly and Dr. Dibra made me feel confident that he understood my issue and would be able to improve it for me. I had an anterior total hip replacement 7 weeks ago and feel like I have gotten my life back!

All I can say is that this man is a magician! One year ago I had my left knee replaced. For reasons I won't go into, I had major issues with the knee replacement.
I went to Dr. Dibra to get a second opinion, and after looking at my MRI, he knew what was wrong, and what it would take to correct it.
I was still on a cane 9 months after my original surgery, and was really dreading going through another procedure, but eventually we set a date of 12/07/21 for the revision.
Unbelievably, two weeks after the revision, I am waking without any assistance from a walker or cane. I have not experienced any pain, and have not taken any pain medications since I left the hospital the day after the surgery.

Highly recommend, great experience from appointment booking to checkout. I visited Dr. Dibra for lower back pain. Got in quickly, had x-rays taken, and met with Dr. Dibra shortly after. We reviewed my x-rays, and he concisely described various lower back conditions that I did not have. Crossing off potential diagnoses and understanding why really put me at ease. He then recommended PT and the reasons why I should expect a significant improvement in my lower back pain. His office gave me a great list of PT options near my house. After waiting almost 5 years to get my second knee replacement done, I was fortunate to have been referred by a family member to Dr Dibra. I was a little cautious about the new technology, but after my research, became very comfortable with the technology, Dr. Dibra, his training and staff. The results of the surgery far exceeded my expectations in a very positive way. The staff was amazing and Dr Dibra takes his time and explains things very well. My recovery was nothing less than absolutely amazing to me! After the surgery and recovery from a traditional knee replacement, this a walk in the park by comparison! Yesterday I attended a celebration of all the Georgetown, TX Orthopedic knee replacement individuals that have knee replacements from Dr. Florian Dibra, M.D. in the last six months.
I looked around, and was reminded that this group was gathering because my neighbor, Tina, had mentioned my success following Dr Dibra, MD replacing my right knee in June.
Many in the room played tennis with my neighbor in Sun City, Georgetown. Three or four in the room had already followed my own successful knee replacement by Dr. Dibra, with their own successful surgery. Everyone shared their success stories. So, I guess in a way, I started a successful snowball chain of events.
Now, why did I select Dr. Florian Dibra, M.D. to perform my knee replacement. Well, I received a call from my brother, Bill, and he said his daughter-n-law, Kay, was scheduled to have knee surgery. The Orthopedic Surgeon was Florian Dibra, M.D. Her son, Trae had recommended Dr. Dibra M.D. to his Mom. So, I called for an appointment.
Dr. Dibra, M.D reminded me of my retired Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Phil Berry, MD. Dr Berry was a trend setter. He was one of the first to switch to the frontal hip replacements. Dr. Berry replaced both my hips over the years.
Dr. Dibra, M.D.'s explained his knee surgical technique. How his technique minimizes number of key muscle and ligaments that are displaced during surgery. Hence, rehab is shorter and less painful. His technique to a trend setter as well.
I was walking after a few hours following surgery. Physical Therapy following surgery and in home exercises were successful in restoring full function of my right knee without pain.
I still have Dr. Dibra's cell phone in my phone( surgical patients are given his cell phone). He is available 24/7. I have texted him a couple of times since surgery. OMG! BEST CARE EVER! The surgery was performed at Medical City in Lewisville, Tx. Excellent facility, great staff and care. Dr Dibra did exactly as he had explained to me with procedure and results. I walked on the same day of surgery, I did so well I was able to go home the same day. I had heard horrible stories about pain and was expecting the worse. It never happened! No pain, the meds provided were given early with very clear instructions. There was very little discomfort. Rehab was something I looked forward to doing. I would highly recommend this Dr to anyone in need. His office staff is friendly and very professional. I'm actually going to have my left knee replacement with Dr Dibra in Jan or February of 2022.

I just recently broken my toe. Didn't know who or where to go. Luckily I would with an awesome coworker that knew Dr. Justin Kane. He absolutely educated me all that he could. Dr. Patel was great. Several years ago I went in to see a different orthopedic surgeon for an injury and after waiting for close to an hour to see the doctor, he spent about 60 seconds in the room with me--didn't even bother examining the exact pain point and range of motion or anything before telling me to go do PT 3x per week for 6 weeks and then come back. Turned me off to orthopedic surgeons in general, which is partly why I recently avoided making an appointment with an OP for an elbow injury. Fortunately, my experience with Dr. Patel was the exact opposite. He spent lots of time examining the injury and checking to see what types of movements were painful. He then plenty of time showing me the x-rays and walking through everything. Very friendly, helpful, and thorough. I didn't feel like he was rushed, or that I was inconveniencing him with my questions. Highly recommend!

Dr. D said maybe someday but physical therapy and a proper knee brace out me in a good place for now. In summary, Dr. Patel was the first of 5 doctors to help me get relief. I have had elbow and general arm pain for two years. I had seen four doctors previously before seeing Dr. Patel. All four said I had cubital tunnel, even though my nerve conduction test showed it was not that bad. I was signed up to have surgery on both arms to move the nerve. I was desperate. The pain was intense, so intense I had given up most every hobby I had and was struggling to do my job, let alone clean my house. Dr. Patel went against the recommendation of 4 other doctors, which is very brave, and said I had something completely different that was causing my nerves to hurt so much. He put me in physical therapy, and within 6 weeks, with the help of my awesome therapist Elizabeth, I got feeling back in both of my hands. I mean, it is amazing how the right target treatment can make a difference. Thank you Dr. Patel for listening and not writing off my symptoms. He helped give me my life back. I cannot thank him, and my physical therapist, enough. I have a new job, I am gardening and cooking again. Thank you. I had my left knee replaced in 2007 and my right knee replaced in late July. I can't tell you how different the experiences were. I don't remember the name of my first surgeon, but I do remember I spent two nights in the hospital. My recovery was long and painful. And I have a 6" scar in the middle of my knee. My surgeon for my right knee was Dr. Florian Dibra of the Orthopedic Institute of North Texas. The experience was totally different. For one thing, the surgery was out patient. Also Dr. Dibra made his incision on the side of my knee so he didn't have to cut through any muscles or tendons. That made a huge difference in my recovery time. I highly recommend Dr. Dibra . I would use him again if I had any more knees!

I recently had the pleasure to see Dr.Justin Kane to get a Hammer toe an a Diabetic ulcer corrected. I don’t normally write reviews but I couldn’t deny this one. Dr. Kane is absolutely amazing. He has excellent bed side manners and truly cares for his patients. I had an ankle surgery done that didn’t go well and it was causing pain the last couple years. I came to Dr. Kane and he took care of everything. His confidence makes me very comfortable and makes me feel like I am able to trust him. He educates your on your body and takes the time to make sure you are fully understanding in all steps. Dr Kane is wonderful. I had surgery to lengthen my Achilles' tendon and then he worked to heal a diabetic ulcer on my foot. I went from a hole the size of a quarter that was1/4 inch deep to completely healed in just 4 months. He did fish skin grafts weekly and it was amazing to watch the difference from week to week. I highly recommend Dr Kane!!!!

I was introduced to Dr. Kane after having 4 previous surgeries for a torn achilles and subsequent infection. Dr. Kane and his colleagues were able to prevent amputation of my foot and, while the achilles was not salvageable, his surgery to repair the damage to my foot enabled me to be able to walk again. Nothing short of a 100% recommendation for Dr. Kane if you need surgery on your foot or achilles.

I have never written a review before but felt compelled to now so I could share my experience and hopefully others will find this information helpful as well. I had bilateral bunion surgery by Dr. Kane 2 weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased with the process and outcome. I've been putting this off for years. I work and have 2 young kids so the idea of being off my feet for 6 weeks, like with traditional bunion surgery, was not even an option for me. However, Dr. Kane does minimally invasive bunion surgery. I had both feet done at the same time and was able to walk (with a post op shoe) post op day 1. The pain was minimal (just had to take tylenol). Was very easy to contact Dr. Kane for all of my post-op questions/concerns. Everyone at his office was very attentive and kind. I'm now 2 weeks out and the swelling is gone, i'm back to wearing regular shoes, and going back to work in a few days. My sincerest gratitude to Dr. Kane and his entire staff at the orthopaedic institute of north texas. I would recommend Dr. Kane and his office to every family member/friend/colleague!

I was referred to Dr. Kane from my Internal Medicine doctor. I told my doctor about my foot pain and he strongly recommended I find out the cause. I saw Dr. Kane and within 5 minutes he diagnosed my foot problem. The explained to me what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix my problem. I underwent my foot reconstruction surgery and I would say it’s was a success. Rehabilitation is the key to success. Dr. Kane does a phenomenal job but if you don’t put in the work at rehab then you won’t get the best results.

Dr. Dibra was tremendous!! The surgical technique he utilized for my Total Knee Replacement allowed me to walk normally without support within 2 weeks after surgery. The pain has been much less than I was told to expect by friends who had undergone replacement of their knees, and the surgical scar is less than half as large as it would typically be in “traditional” surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Dibra! He is the best choice for your knee replacement!!

Dr. Kane happened to be in the hospital when I broke my leg. It was a very bad break. He was wonderful and so kind. Most doctors would have performed the surgery and that would be the extent of the relationship but he goes above and beyond giving you his cell phone number and answering any questions when you call. He and his staff treat you as if you were their only patient.
He also performed my foot surgery and I have no more pain in my feet!

Dr Kane saved my foot. I got a terrible infection in a prior surgery done by another surgeon. He had to remove a portion of my Achilles in order for me to be able to walk.

I went Dr. Kane after suffering a bicep tendon tear and he fixed me right up! He made me feel very comfortable throughout the days leading up to the surgery. The surgery came out great!
From what I understood, the procedure I underwent has a high risk of permanent numbness which affects the arm being operated upon. Despite that, I have recovered and I am not experiencing any numbness! Dr. Kane explained the procedure very well and told me he was extra careful to avoid damaging my nerves during the operation.

After suffering with large bunions on both feet for about 30 years, Dr Kane performed his 3-D Lapiplasty correction on my feet in January 2020. My overall experience has been extremely positive.
The procedure is out-patient and mine was bilateral. My recovery time passed easily and quickly with minimal pain. I had suffered from foot an ankle pain for about 4 years, had seen two other doctors, months upon months of physical therapy, too many injections to count, 4 surgeries, and 12 scars. By the time I met Dr. Kane I felt defeated. One of the first things that really stood out to me was when insurance was being difficult about the MRI he ordered. He himself called and fought for me to be able to have it done. He genuinely cares and will do whatever he can to fix the issue. Dr. Kane did major right foot and ankle repair on me in 8/2019. I had been to several other doctors who continued to overlook my 2 fractures, one of which was consistent with a crush injury. Because I had walked on it for so long without correction irreversible damage occurred to surrounding ligaments and tissues. It’s been a long recovery but my ankle is stronger than it’s been in many years. I was told o would likely not run again but I can say that I completed a 1mile run today. My recovery/journey is definitely not over but I’m forever grateful that Dr. Kane has given me back the ability to do the things I love to do.
I want to add, I’m a RN and have seen many orthopedic surgeries with and without complications. I had the pleasure of caring for several of Dr. Kane’s patients and knew he would be the one to correct my problem and do it in one surgery. And he did!!!! Whether he’s your first, second, third opinion or you’ve given up...you NEED to get his opinion before you decide your next step!!
Lastly, you will rarely wait in his office. He is the most punctual doctor I’ve ever been to see. He values your time as much as his own. Dr Kane has a great team surrounding him, but he is truly one of those Doctors that truly wants to make a positive outcome in each patient's life as the first priority. I have been lucky in that my ankle issues were minor compared to most. But just the short interaction I have had with Dr Kane solidify that if I had the most complicated foot / ankle injuries on the planet.....Dr Kane is the 1st call. So smart, so caring, and completely honest on a patients level.

I came to Dr. Kane after a different healthcare professional had me near to amputation ! The day I came in for my first appointment, I asked the man at the desk if this was Dr. Kanes office. He replied it was and he was Dr. Kane. He was up front ,helping his staff with appointments, etc. Honestly, how many other doctors do you know that would be that helpful?!
His talents, skills and straightforward candor made me glad I was his patient. I went from a very possible amputation to healed. I know that I was lucky to have recieved his aid. His staff is the best as well. I had numerous conversations with Madison, who helped me with letters for my employer, etc.
If you think you have tried everything or have no more choices, PLEASE contact Dr. Kane. He just might be the best thing to happen to you, as he was for me !!

Best Doctor Ever! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kane...I was referred by an ER doctor after a fall where I dislocated and broke my ankle (trimalleolar fracture). I am very particular about any doctor I see and usually read reviews and do extensive research. I was very apprehensive about the surgery but the ER doctor assured me that Dr. Kane was the best in his field. He was right! I immediately felt so comfortable and knew that I was in good hands. Dr. Kane is very professional, but also kind and caring. He never makes you feel rushed, he explains every detail, and answers all of your questions. He's always upbeat and makes your visits fun!! The office staff is super friendly and you are never left sitting in an exam room forever. I could go on and on but if you're looking for the best, call Dr. Kane!

After suffering in pain for over 8 years (with a nonunion fracture of the second metatrsal on my left foot) and seeing 3 different Dr.s and one failed surgery later, I was blessed to have been referred to Dr. Kane. From the very first visit he took his time to listen to me and was extremely compassionate to my situation. I didnt ever feel rushed at any of my visits. He gave me options and explained everything in detail to me so that I didnt leave his office confused. He also made me comfortable in my decision making of having a second surgery. All I can say is I'm glad I did and that he was my surgeon. Throughout my entire process from my first visit to all of my post-OP visits he made me feel important and genuinely cares about his patients. I am currently in my 4th month post-OP and I am healing just the way Dr. Kane said I would. His techniques are genius! He is definitely by far the best Ortho and surgeon I have seen. And will continue going to him for all of my & family ortho needs. Thank you Dr. Kane for getting me back on my feet.

The office staff is superior. Friendly and competent. Justin Kane is remarkable. One minute more with him would have been nice. The rehab has been discouraging. He reiterated the timetable which was less aggressive than when I got at surgery back in September....I recalled hearing 6 months back then, but I could have misinterpreted the guidance. But now I realize its a year or longer....confirmed by my primary care doctor.

Dr. Kane is both a great clinician and a genuinely, uniquely caring physician. I was very lucky to have gotten him when I had a serious accident and had to have a second surgery to try to fix my heel and ankle. I don't think I’d be able to walk or have gotten some pain relief without his surgery.
